New York Dream Center Zambia Mission Trip

Trip Update from Carrie Nichols, Team Leader
As the COVID-19 virus pandemic marched across the U.S. and then the globe, I watched the numbers daily all Spring, in the hopes that by June we would be ‘back to normal’. Unfortunately, the outlook never improved and the airlines cancelled our flights. I informed the team of the disappointing news – something I think we all knew in the back of our minds. Just like the disappointment with the broken rig in 2018, I was one again faced with accepting that God has a plan and that plan is good, even if it felt really rotten. I had already begun fundraising early 2020 and had almost two wells funded. Those donors allowed me to carry over the money to 2021.
I immediately locked in dates for the 2021 trip: June 18-29, 2021. I have already had great interest in that team, so I feel like God is going to restore what was taken away this year. I think we may have the largest team ever and the greatest impact possible.
